Outfit post | Baby and Family Expo 2013

My love for clothes and fashion was strongly influenced by my mom. I remember as a little girl she would take me with her while she shopped for new shoes and a matching bag. I was exposed to high end stores like Debenhams and Harrod's and my Mum back then really had great taste in fashion.

When I found out I was to accept an award for Life As A Supermom, as a woman you would know that the first thing to pop in your mind is "What shall I wear??".

I didn't want to overdress, nor look formal but all I know was that I wanted to feel good in my outfit.

As the bread winner of the family, I don't have the luxury of spending a lot on clothes, so I decided to stick with going to the tiangge at Farmer's Market which I knew had some great finds, but the task at hand was to put an outfit together that was cheap but doesn't look like it.

I settled for a floral skater skirt since I still wanted to be girly-girly and then found a cute crop top with the back cut out. (Sorry for the poor photos).

The shoes I scored at the Eastwood City tiangge and I decided to stick to flats since I knew we had two little kids with us. Gotta be practical although killer heals would do great.

So what do you think? Was I able to pull it off? 😊

Next outfit post will be for our company's year end party!
