My staled Love for Baking

I stopped baking months back because my time just couldn't afford it. I considered myself a WAHM back then because I didn't have a full time job and I was accepting orders like every week, for fondant cakes and cupcakes.

I only had one requirement to accept an order and that was that I would be inspired by the customer or else I knew my creation would fail and believe me it has happened. Of course the clients didn't know this. ^_^

I still get asked until this day if I can accept orders and of course I would politely decline. So my spankingly brand new La Germania Tabletop oven sits lonely in the kitchen waiting for me to shower it with love.

Recently, I got to bake one of my best buys which was the Red Velvet Cupcake and it was hit with my graduating training class.

I suddenly remembered all the cakes and cupcakes I created and all the heartaches in between. I was earning quite good with the small business but totally exhausting.

It was also very costly especially when you had to test recipes before offering them to clients, I started with a small oven and 2 baking pans which has now grown to baking tools that can only fit into an extra large tupperware.

I do feel sad that with my full time job, this little passion of mine has been put on hiatus but I know that I'll be going back to that beautiful shining oven waiting for me.
