DIY Ideas for Mommies

You will have to agree that as mommies, you already have the pains of fixing things constantly, running after your toddlers, rummaging through mess and you would just wish that everything would just be a little more easier right?

I went ahead and asked some of the mommies from Mommy Bloggers Philippines for DIY ideas to which made their life a little easier, let me go ahead and share their absolutely wonderful DIY ideas which would make your life much easier.

This idea from Lailani of Every Moms Page was so cute and easy that you can also get your kids to make the box out of popsicle sticks, we all need those little boxes for knick-knacks and I think this is perfect to keep your brick-a-brack organized.
See how to make it here.

Educational toys are really at the height of its prices nowadays and usually isn't for the regular mom's budget. Check out these DIY ideas from
Rina of the blog Adventures In Ever After and look fun ways to turn your everyday household and baby items into a playtime fun for your little one's, does absolute wonders for your budget and your baby.

When I saw Cheryl's DIY playhouse on her blog Mamemimommy, I flipped! I sooo wanna make this for my kids! Such a great idea for playtime and the best thing is that the playhouse was made from recycled materials!
Check out her step by step procedure here.

I loved the sentimentality placed in this project by Jhanis of The Vanilla Housewife. Instead of a regular guestbook as a remembrance for the birthday party of her daughter. She created a wishing tree much like what you see at weddings. The nice part is that she intends to share these wishes with her daughter on her 18th birthday. Truly magical.

See how to make the wishing tree here.

Rikka of Rikx Knows Best, shared the project that her husband worked on to create a tin can candle holder just using an up cycling soda cans! I loved this idea and so handy as well since you can hang them, perfect idea for black outs or to put candles outside.

Check it out here.

I too jumped on the DIY bandwagon when I created my accessories and jewelry holder just from an old piece of wood (from the little Boss's old crib and some wood nails. Really relieved me of a headache to rummage through my stuff to find my earrings. What do you think?

Have you made any DIY projects lately, please share them on the comments below, I would love to check them out and maybe feature them on my next sharing article.

  2. I am a fan of DIY (I did some for Neo's 2nd birthday decors, sayang I forgot to tell you). Though a lot of times, in the middle of doing some DIYs, feeling ko, nawawalan ako ng creative ideas, so better buy na lang the pre-made. I admire moms who can do DIY projects :)

  3. I once visited a friend's house and saw so many DIY highlights around created by her hubby. Wish I have a lot of time and energy to do those. :) I think mommy Rikka's candle holder is very practical, I think we can make use of that. But that house? Panalo!
