Event| My 5 takeaways from the BDJ Rendevous: Made To Fly Event

I got to attend my first BDJ Rendevous for the year. Hectic work schedule hasn't permitted me to go to events this year. Since the BDJ rendevous: Made To Fly was to be held at Eastwood Mall, I scurried to sign up!

I was also happy to be with my colleague Andy, since she is also a BDJ Bella. Signing up was a breeze and we received constant communication about the event making sure we wouldn't miss it. I also learn about a lot of things whenever I get to attend and this event was special for since my favorite fashion blogger was attending: Trisha Gosingtian - she was definitely the highlight of the event!

What you can always expect from a BDJ Rendevous is that you will always go home fullfilled - with knowledge, new friends, raffle prizes, good food, photo booth and the loot bag. There were also games during the program to keep you perky all throughout.

My favorite contents of the BDJ loot bag.
The event was hosted by the pretty and bubbly Janeena Tan, we were able to listen to talks from Cara Del Rosario - Dizon (Owner, Subic Grand Seas), Emman De Leon (Make-up artist of the stars) from Revlon Philippines, Donna Cuna - Pitta (Cosmoplitan PH), Blogger Nina Fuentes (justwandering.org) and of course the lovely Trisha Gosingtian representing Pond's Philippines.

Here are my takeaways from this event:

1. You need not wear heavy make-up in summer to keep you looking fresh
2. To stay sane, you must have a balance of work and life, make time to travel to de-stress.
3. Travel need not be expensive, plan ahead, look for discounts and avoid expensive hotels.
4. Pack around 1 item to mix and match with, know your activities ahead to avoid over packing.
5. Take care of tour skin especially with the harsh heat.

How do you get access to the BDJ Rendevous Series of events? First you need to make sure that you have a BDJ planner for the existing year to gain entry. This is my second year as a Bella, yes I am sort of a late bloomer at this but I am definitely fulfilled! Looking forward to more years as a BDJ Bella!
