Feature| 5 Tips to Boost Your Immunity during the Holidays

Tomorrow officially marks the beginning of the Christmas month! I am sure lasses that you have made your plans for the whole month. If you are a mom then you'll be one of the busiest this month! Mom or not you still have a lot to do this Yuletide season!

Season'sGreetings!

There's Christmas parties to go to, relatives to visit and work to be done still. So how will you be able to keep up with all these festivities?

Make sure to keep healthy and boost that immune system to make sure that you won't get sick during this important month!

Let me share with you five tips to boost your immunity this holiday season, that I have followed and hope will work for you too:

1. Eat right. Your diet contributes to your health greatly and getting the right food intake will help you get your needed tasks done. Quit that latte and go for a healthy green tea with honey, if you need a quick snack instead of reaching for that bag of chips, pop in your mouth some almonds instead and ditch the soda and go for yogurt. :)

2. Vices are social but not healthy. If you are part of the call center industry, smoking seems to be need. I quit smoking long ago as per advice of my doctor due to gastric hyper-acidity. If you have the need to grab a drink after the shift then keep it moderate, do you seriously need to be crawling all the way to a cab just to get home?

3. Get some sleep. Being sleep deprived actually promotes you to become susceptible to the common cold, slow wound healing and it induces stress which could lead to depression. Get at least 6 hours, less than that, could make your immune system dip.

4. Wash your hands. You do not need to wash your hands every single time but if you are coming from the bathroom please do. Especially if you are about to handle food to prepare for Noche Buena. Bacteria from the bathroom transmitted to food when you eat, could cause a stomach upset.

5. Take supplements. If you want to make sure to make it through this month completely ill free then take a supplement that you can trust to help your immune system protect you. I have always trusted Fern-C. Trusted for 10 years, it is my preferred brand of anti-oxidant which increases your body resistance against infectious diseases. The great thing is that it is kind to the stomach that you can even take Fern-C without prior food intake.

Fern-C

Why take Fern-C as an anti oxidant rather than the regular ascorbic acid that we know?

There are many benefits of sodium ascorbate (generic name of Fern-C) against ascorbic acid. It is known that sodium ascorbate is easily absorbed by the body, it can also help to fight or prevent against cancer and also against cardiovascular diseases which makes it better than ascorbic acid. So you get the same benefits of ascorbic acid but more!

Fern-C is available at leading drugstores, convenience stores and supermarkets nationwide!

Hope theses tips help lasses! Maybe you can share some with me?
Tell me how you fight immunity. :)
