Althea Make Up Review + Tutorial (Sunrise Look)

Kilig, ecstatic, happy and feeling loved when I received the Althea Make Up Box in the mail.

Althea released make up products and it's perfect for the Korean Make-up look: Creamy concealer, Lip tint, and Eye glitter is part of this new make up line.

I was particularly ecstatic with the release of the Althea Sunrise & Moonrise Eyeshadow Palette which is in collaboration with Bunga Citra Lestari otherwise known as BCL who is an Indonesian Singer and Actress. After using it, I was not disappointed at all. Knowing that Korean Make up is as not overly pigmented, it's a plus for women like me who want to do eye make up for everyday but not look overdone.

I tested out the products a few times before creating my own Althea Korean Make up look and I was in general, happy with the quality of the products.

Let's talk about the products where I have ranked them from my least to my most favorite out of the line:

❤❤❤ Althea Spotlight Eye Glitter
- I was very excited for this product since I have always wanted to try out Eye glitter in this form. I love how it applies because it looks absolutely pretty. It comes in two shades: Gold light and Pink light. I would go for the Pink light if I wanted a subtle look and Gold light if I need a more brighter effect. The only drawback with this doesn't stay on the whole day. I used this at work and only half day into my shift, I see the glitter disappear (nope, I don't rub my eyes).

❤❤❤❤ Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer
- I love the coverage this gives and I am impressed that they released more than 2 shades! You get my applause Althea, I am used to most of the face products that Korean brands release would only be in 2 shades: Very light and light. So thank you Althea for giving chance to morena's to use your products. The formula is definitely creamy and a little on the heavy side. SInce, I have combination skin unfortunately, I had a little hard time to blend - so if you have dry skin you should definitely moisturize to make sure this works for you and use a damp beauty sponge.

❤❤❤ Althea Watercolor Cream Tint
- I am in love with this tint, because I get long color pay off. My favorite shade over all the available shades is Plum Cream. This is my go to shade for the utmost Korean Make Up look. It was not drying on my lips and I particularly liked the scent (yummy) and there is not bitter after taste. It takes 2 meals before it totally comes off.

❤❤❤❤ Althea Sunrise and Moonrise Eyeshadow Palette
- If you are okay with subtle shades that doesn't give the too heavy of an eyeshadow look then this is for you. I am happy with this palette because it meets my eye look needs for the office. I do not feel I have done too much with the make up when I use this. The eyeshadow palette comes in a combination of matte and shimmer shades. The color pay off is pretty good and I love how it is easy to use the shades as transition colors.

I think with these make up products, Althea has really start to kick off as it's own beauty brand that I would not be surprised if they started their own retail outlets in the mall (super praying for that).

Now for the tutorial - take a look at how I used all these products plus a guest star: Althea Petal Velvet Powder.
