Double the clinginess
Times two the tantrums
Multiplied twice, everything else!

My little Bossing is slowly morphing into a terrible two, especially that his birthday is just around the corner. But I am truly grateful for this second year and we have learned so much about him.
Let me share with you things that I have learned about the Bossing in the year that has passed:
His hobbies include scribbling endlessly until forever on paper, which also includes the DVD player and my phone.
He loves to build, stack and put things together... Only to take them apart or throw them around the living room a few minutes after.
He loves to swim and he loves water. He has no care in the world if his lips turn blue as long as he wades around he's happy. Period.
He climbs everywhere and anywhere. As long as there is a platform higher than the floor, bet your bottom dollar that he's on top of it.
He falls asleep at every mall trip we have. He somehow has this sleep switch that is activated by the mall airconditioning.
He loves to eat, bananas, peanut butter sandwiches, sinigang, noodles, paper, plastic... hold on that ain't food right? sometimes I think he's a mini human shredder. *Sigh*
Apparently, he loves to lie down on his parent pillows, on the left is parent pillow number one, that's me somewhere underneath him and behold parent pillow number two, his own breathing parent sofa.
But one thing I am pretty sure of is that he loves his Papa and His Princess of a sister and of course his Mama.
Advance Happy birthday baby boy. Tita misses you. Hope I can see you again. Sigh. Time flies!
ReplyDeleteWe shall soon have a play date :). Thank you Sis Serene!
Deleteawww....how heartfelt. you know, I read this book -- Wild Things which is about raising boys to manhood and it says there that as they get older, they get more exciting to witness. :) I myself have 3.
ReplyDeleteWow 3 May! Boys have so much going on for them, and it is exciting I agree. Thank you May! 😊
DeleteHappy birthday! My son is also 2
ReplyDeleteThank you! These are the precious years. 😊
DeleteHe's so cute! They grow up so fast, don't they? :)
ReplyDeleteSo true Jhanis. :( Heartache and all they do grow up.
DeleteWhat an amusing post! I just came across your blog--it's amusing how I was smiling the while time I was reading about your little boy. :)

Thank you Mars! I'm glad his story made you smile. :) Thanks for dropping by.
DeleteHappy birthday to your angel!
ReplyDeleteI think that putting up this blog is one great gift for your son. When he grows up and would be able to see this site, how you painstakingly built it out of love, he will not just say thanks but with such ardor of spoken words as : "Mommy you are the greatest! You captured every important event of my life and treasured it. This is the greatest give that I will cherish throughout my life."
Thank you Jenny :) Thank God for the wonders of blogging and the internet!
DeleteHappy birthday to your boy! My little man is on his way to his 2nd birthday too. He's beginning to throw tantrums already, although I find his tantrums cute since he'd lay on the floor and just kick and kick and kick. Haha!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha Same thing the hubby said! He finds Bossing's being clingy cute! Advanced Happy Birthday to your little man! :)
