With all the blogging wars, harsh words between bloggers and the negative feedback, you start to think of the reasons why you blog and what's your purpose.
I refuse to be thrown into that negativity but instead challenge myself to not be part of the ugly world of lashing and bashing but keeping a promise to myself, to my readers and my fellow bloggers to create a positive and peaceful blogging world.
I am hoping to reach out to fellow bloggers by doing the same and keeping your promise to blog with a heart.
Please leave your promise, a link to your post on your own blogging oath or your support to a better blogging community in the comments section below.
loved it. behind you all the way! :)
ReplyDeleteAww thank you May. This is for all of us. If you ever publish your own blogging oath please let me know and let's fight for a healthy blogging community! ❤️
DeleteI sooo love it.. I have also posted mine why I blog before.. hihhhi.. Your's has an oath pa..so cool Mommy,..
ReplyDeleteThank you Jocris! Please share the link of that post here, I would love to read it. :)
DeleteSupporting you all the way, sissy! We shouldn't be competing in the first place because we all have our own purpose and reason :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rikka! Yes, absolutely right. Fighting is unproductive and blogging should be a peaceful community.
DeleteI love your blog oath! You're right, blogging should be beyond getting freebies; it's about meeting kindred spirits, sharing our experiences, and learning from other bloggers as well. :)
ReplyDeleteMichelle here from http://hitsandmrs.wordpress.com (also from Mommy Bloggers Philippines on FB)
Nice to meet you Michelle! Thank you! That is also my favorite part which is meeting other bloggers. :)
DeleteBeing more of a {sorta reclusive} personal blogger than anything and not being that active in the blogging community, I guess I could not really relate to the blogging wars and harsh feedback you mentioned. Just the same, I commend you for taking blogging to another {more personal} level and making a stand through this oath/post. Kudos! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I will stand by this and hope that other bloggers too will follow. :)
Deletenice... blogging is more than self expression it is also a way of touching people's lives!
ReplyDeleteTrue! And I hope others will find their center, as to why they blog.
DeleteI solemnly swear to do the same! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Jhanis!
DeleteThere really should be a healthy blogging community. We should support each other. And when we say support, we should not just pick those which we feel like supporting but we have to support everyone. I so agree with your blogging oath!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kareen! Absolutely support each blogger! 😊
DeleteI didn't know about these blogging wars and loot bags at events until I joined this fb group (although I am not active there) and saw (literally) a thread about accusations and misdeeds while "eventing." I was so glad I have been an active member of a bloggers group (bc bloggers) who are kind of laid back and who support each other, without all the drama
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie! Yes to no more drama!
DeleteThis is great. :) I agree with everything in your oath. I am so sick of the blogging wars. We all should just support each other.
ReplyDeleteThank you Janice! 😊 if you ever make an oath of your own, please do share!
DeleteMy first comment didn't go through. But anyway- thank you for posting this. It really reminded me of my reason for blogging. I was actually thinking of going on a blogging break because I've been getting "parinig" that my choices of feeding my family organic food and cutting down on gadget/tv use is just me trying to fit in with the trend -- which is really not my intention because I truly want my family to eat healthier and to rely less on gadgets. So there, thank you for sharing your blogging oath. My mantra now is "I blog to share, not to compare." Haha! Hindi na ako papa-affect.
ReplyDeletePlease don't ever stop blogging Kim. I'm glad you have set your ground especially to those na 'nagpaparinig'. You have the right to choose what is best for your family and I totally support you on both choices you have made.
