Aside from the lipsticks, I also got the chance to review the Colour Collection Collagen Lipsticks, Colour Collection Whitening BB Cream, Colour Collection Pressed Powder, Colour Collection Brow Mascara and the Colour Collection Lengthening Mascara.
So after the testing and tryout and I'm going to share with you my thoughts about each product.
See my live GRWM video using all the products to be reviewed:
Colour Collection Whitening BB Cream (599Php Regular)
What's good:
It does have a yellow undertone which is a plus for Asian skin and there isn't a sticky feeling when applied. The scent is light and packaging comes in a squeezable tube which makes it easy to dispense. Also, because of the formula it spreads easily if using a flat brush.
Boo-Boo's:
Don't get me wrong, I have loved using BB creams since it first became a fad and I was comfortable to use it every day. I was a little sad though that the shade sent didn't match my skin tone so I didn't get to test this out as I had wanted. Looks like this BB cream, as I had applied it in one of my live videos gives off a light coverage and is slightly build-able. I received the shade Natural but since I am acidic, the product started oxidizing on my face almost immediately. So, my tip is if you want to get the Colour Collection Whitening BB Cream and you are acidic, definitely get the shade Light.
Colour Collection Pressed Powder (375Php Regular)
What's good:
I used this powder to set my foundation before going to an outdoor event. Surprisingly, after a 2-block walk and exposure to heat. It still controlled the oil in my T-zone. I like the light powdery scent and it doesn't cake when applied with a big powder blush.
Boo-Boo's:
The sponge included isn't what I would use for a pressed powder since the product would just glide on top of your skin.
Colour Collection Brow Mascara (399Php Regular)
What's good:
Staying power is there and the shade Dark Brown is great for dark coloured hair like mine. I was happy that I didn't detect a red undertone in the shade.
Boo-boos:
The formula dries up quickly which makes it a little difficult to work with and clumping is evident when applied.
Colour Collection Lengthening Mascara (399Php Regular)
What's good:
Definitely my favorite! The lengthening claim is a true pay off with this product and the formula is perfect to achieve that more vavavoom lashes you are looking for. One coat lengthens the lashes but two coats thickens and almost gives off a false eyelash look.
Boo-Boo's:
I cannot think of any honestly!
Colour Collection Collagen Lipsticks (350Php Regular)
What's good:
It glides on smoothly and if you are tired of the matte look then this a good lipstick to use. It's claim-to-fame is that it's an anti-aging lipstick and you cannot expect to see that with a one-time use. The colour payoff is good and so is this pigment on the lips.
Boo-Boo's:
You may need to use a lip liner pencil with this product since it may have a tendency to bleed.
Colour Collection HD Iconic Matte Lipstick (399Php)
What's good:
I love this line because of its wearability. My favorite shade out of the ones sent to me was Beauty Queen - it's a perfect nude for me and my skin tone. Most of the shades would transfer from tube to my lips in the same shade and even though this is a matte lipstick product, it was non-drying and is moisturizing. It glides on with a silky-matte finish that never feels dry.
I also tested this out for a few hours and although it is not drink or food proof, it still leaves a pigment on your lips when it starts to wear off.
Boo-Boo's:
I always look forward to a dark plum shade, I hope that their next formula of the shade of Runway Ready gives off a deeper plum.
