Event| Mamanee Goes to the Hallmark Valentine Fair 2015!

Valentine's Day. A day which can certainly be considered a public holiday in the Philippines! With all the sales, events and people walking around with flowers and gifts - it's almost like Christmas. You can seriously smell all the good vibes.

And the good vibes was also what I felt while at the Hallmark Valentine's Fair 2015.

Serenaded by music, freebies galore and such a relaxed environment, I was truly feeling euphoric with all that was going on at Robinson's Magnolia Plaza.

The best part was that to get in the concert for free, all you needed to do was buy a Hallmark card from any National Bookstore branch or from the venue itself, present your receipt and voila! You are part of the fair.

Yes Kuya, pose ka lang hehe (Disclaimer: Di ko po sya kilala LOL)

There were booths with activities like the Card-Sending Booth, where you could send a card to anyone within the fair, Tell Them! booth where you can post a message on the valentine wall. There were also food booths and the first 300 people that enter the fair got free cotton candy and a hotdog!

Freebies galore at the fair as soon as you enter! Upon registration, we received a balloon with a love message attached, glow sticks and Wolight bookmarks. BiC was also giving away ball pens.

There weren't any seats but since the event was at an area full of grass, eager attendees were seated as though it was a picnic ground. My friend (Nestlene - uhuh, just like the ice cream) and my princess found a nice spot beside the stage and took our seat on the grass comfortably.

DJ's from Jam 88.3 hosted the show gleefully with some games for everyone and the winners of the Hallmark Tell Me Video contest were awarded.

Then the 1st highlight of the event was on and after 5 years we see Hale on stage with their lead vocalist Champ Lui-Pio, band members Roll Martinez, Sheldon Gellada, and Paolo Santiago. They sang their most popular songs plus their newest single "See You" which is available on itunes and Spotify, for the first time live!

Next set, we got hooked on Up Dharma Down's perfect songs of sway-able music, sorry if my term is a little funny but I swayed to every tune that Ami belted out plus my princess did too!  Fellow band members Roll Martinez, Sheldon Gellada, and Paolo Santiago were there. During the set they were cracking jokes with the crowd and Ami gave tips to those that were still courting. They played their popular hits and when they played "Tadhana" the crowd sang along. I felt like I was at a music festival!

My heart was filled with good vibes, songs and happiness from the freebies we received. :)

I could say that the Hallmark Valentine Fair 2015 was a sure success since the National Book store booth was totally sold out! Congratulations Hallmark Philippines on a wonderful and successful Valentine Fair! Hoping for a next year!

    1. I can imagine Kim, sobrang daming tao sa labas on that day. Buti na lang malapit lang ito sa amin plus hindi crowded ang Robinson's Magnolia.

  3. After last year, I dreaded going out on Valentine's Day due to traffic. We celebrated ours a day after.
